Luke is new, his demons are still fresh, and we find a brotherhood together. I’ve been here the longest, other than the owner, and I don’t see myself leaving anytime soon. I know the place she belongs is in our arms, but will she stay? Or will she become just another person I lose along the way? BROCK When I was struggling most, I found a slice of hope and peace at a little ranch where I could use my knowledge and skills to train protection dogs and help other former military members find a new path. Finding a mentor and brother in Brock was enough for me, but then Hadley arrives with her sweet smiles and curious eyes. LUKE To save my family from the man I became, I went in search for a place where I could escape my past and, maybe, find a future. Brock and Luke are willing to answer all my questions and help me not only perfect my recipes, but they prove to me there might be more to life than the business I’ve been focusing on. It’s a ranch where former military can battle their demons and feel productive. When I arrive, I’m met with more than a dog training facility and kennel. I’m looking forward to everything I’ll have the opportunity to learn and getting out of Denver for a little while. When I get an in to visit a dog training facility, I jump at the chance. HADLEY I’ve been hustling for my business, Paws Up, and now that we’re growing, I need to do some more research to make sure my treats and food are the best they can be.
